FAQs

Continuation Trainings

The continuation training course covers any changes or updates in aviation regulations, standards, and guidelines relevant to aircraft maintenance. This includes updates from regulatory authorities such as the FAA, EASA, or other governing bodies.

Continuation training covers changes in relevant requirements such as:

  • Part-145
  • Changes in organisation procedures
  • Modification standard of the products being maintained
  • Human factor issues identified from any internal or external analysis of incidents
  • It also addresses instances where staff failed to follow procedures and the reasons why particular procedures are not always followed.

Continuation training is sufficient duration in each 2-year period to meet the intent of AMC/GM to ANNEX II (PART-145), 145.A.35(d) and may be split into a number of separate elements.

NOTE: You must refer to your approved 145 in relation to organisation procedures and to your QA department for failure to follow the same procedures.
