FAQs

Aircraft Type Specific Continuation Trainings

The continuation training course covers any changes or updates in aviation regulations, standards, and guidelines relevant to aircraft maintenance. This includes updates from regulatory authorities such as the FAA, EASA, or other governing bodies.

Continuation training should cover changes in relevant requirements such as Part-145, changes in organisation procedures and the modification standard of the products being maintained plus human factor issues identified from any internal or external analysis of incidents. It should also address instances where staff failed to follow procedures and the reasons why particular procedures are not always followed.

Continuation training should be of sufficient duration in each 2-year period to meet the intent of AMC/GM to ANNEX II (PART-145), 145.A.35(d) and may be split into a number of separate elements.

AviationLearning.net cannot provide organisation procedures update but we can provide the last important updates related to a specific aircraft in relation to Safety and Airworthiness Directive (AD’s) which will satisfy modification standard of the product being maintained.
Please refer to the following link for HF, FTS & EWIS.

NOTE: You must refer to your approved 145 in relation to organisation procedures and to your QA department for failure to follow the same procedures.
